For over 20 years, our award-winning festival has welcomed thousands of visitors from all over North America to the beautiful lakeside town of Kincardine to join us in celebrating all things Scottish.

The award-winning Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games attracts thousands of visitors each year. The Festival is a non-profit community effort that relies on sponsorships and grants and the generous donation of time of over 400 volunteers.

Our Goal

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.

The primary goal of the Festival is to enhance and ensure the preservation of Kincardine's Scottish roots. The Festival also honours the traditions and contributions of Scottish culture within the Canadian multi-cultural mosaic.

What to Expect

You will need to attend the Volunteer Training, to be held
Date: Wednesday, June 26, 2024, 7-9pm
Location: Davidson Centre, Penetangore Room

Soft drinks and water available.

Training will include sign up for square training, understanding volunteer requirements, etc...

You are expected to arrive 15 minutes early for your 'shift' and commit to your hours.

Identify yourself as a volunteer by wearing the Kincardine Scottish Festival shirts that will be provided to you. These shirts will need to be returned at the end of the Festival weekend to your Volunteer manager.

Please read and sign the Volunteer Code of Conduct. Failure to do so will result in you not being accepted to help at the festival.

50% Off Smart Serve Certification

When you volunteer a minimum of 3 hours, the Kincardine Scottish Festival will reimburse you 50% of the cost of your certification, either to re-certify, or to certify in full. After the festival concludes you can present your receipt for the cost of certification to the Volunteer manager and we will arrange the payment back to you.
