Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games Celebrates 25 Years with a Star-Studded Lineup and a special offer!

The Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games is excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for its 25th anniversary celebration, taking place from July 5 to 7. This year, we are not only bringing an exhilarating mix of music, competition, and Scottish heritage but also offering special activities to mark this milestone.

In honor of our 25th anniversary, all daytime activities on Saturday will be FREE of charge from 10:30 to 4:pm. This is our way of thanking our community for its continued support and enthusiasm over the years. Attendees can enjoy traditional Highland games competitions, such as the stone throw, hammer throw, and other feats of strength, while allowing you to explore Clan Avenue to learn about your family history or other interesting factoids, and peruse a variety of vendor stalls showcasing authentic Scottish goods and wares without any admission fee during the day.

We welcome back our parade this year now that our beautified main street is back in operation and the pipers will be calling!

The excitement continues into Sunday, which we always position as Family Day. This year, we're packing Sunday with a plethora of activities designed for fun-seekers of all ages. Families can look forward to special performances, games, a petting zoo, live knights and other events that sure to excite. Stay tuned for more information to come on the family events.

Our musical lineup for the weekend includes some fantastic acts: The Practically Hip, U2 Desire Tribute Band, Abbamania, The Glengarry Bhoys and British Legends, along with the unique sounds of The Mudmen. The festival will be headlined by the Trans Canada Highwaymen, comprised of members from Sloan, Odds, Barenaked Ladies, and The Pursuit of Happiness.

"We are thrilled to offer an expanded range of activities as part of our 25th-anniversary celebration,"
said Tony Doherty, Festival President. "With free admission on Saturday and a family-focused Sunday,
we hope to welcome even more guests to our celebration of Scottish culture and community."

Tickets are available now and can be purchased on our website via Ticketscene. Secure your tickets online to save at the gate and help us continue our journey to going cashless.
